It is something the Lord has been laying on my heart lately and I am still searching to find if God is telling me to give him control of my family.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17238112.post-1138741696247606012006-01-31T13:08:00.000-08:002006-01-31T13:08:00.000-08:00The research that I have found on this particular ...The research that I have found on this particular issue is all done by Catholic researchers or Catholic sponsored researchers who have a vested interest in the results coming out the way they have in such studies. More unbiased research confirms what public belief holds. The pill prevents ovulation making it impossible to cause abortions.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17238112.post-1137438216280226352006-01-16T11:03:00.000-08:002006-01-16T11:03:00.000-08:00Oh, no...trust me, this is NOT the only study. There are many, many other sources for this - and as someone with connections the medical field, I would think you could easily find them.
Don't take my word for it - go ahead and do the research yourself! I promise you it's out there. The Charleboishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04301218615305191791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17238112.post-1137177632028660032006-01-13T10:40:00.000-08:002006-01-13T10:40:00.000-08:00I am not sure that I buy this arguement about abor...I am not sure that I buy this arguement about abortions. I have close connections to this area of the medical field who would question this research's validity greatly! It is one study, done by one man, who may or may not be influence by presuppositions going into the study. For this research to be conclusive, it must be reproduced and evaluated by multiple sources. As a journalist, I am surprised you would take one source as the authority on this subject!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17238112.post-1136597474035581902006-01-06T17:31:00.000-08:002006-01-06T17:31:00.000-08:00Like I said, I am not arguing with your main point...Like I said, I am not arguing with your main point, I'm just curious as to where you draw the line for "Playing God"

The God being small was directed at the first comment that said "IF WE CAN'T HAVE FAITH IN GOD TO CONTROL OUR FUTURES, THAN OUR GOD IS TO SMALL." Leaving the abortion issue out of it for a minute, I don't understand that comment at all. What does it mean to have faith in God to control our future? It means we take no action at all. Am I not having faith in God if I have a lightning rod in my roof. I truly don't understand where you draw that line.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17238112.post-1136577253128090272006-01-06T11:54:00.000-08:002006-01-06T11:54:00.000-08:00In response to the second comment, you're right, i...In response to the second comment, you're right, if God can be thwarted by a pill, that God is too small. God CANNOT be thwarted by a pill. If He desires for you to be pregnant, He will make you pregnant.
But here's the scary thing: God will LET US have our way sometimes...which only hinders us from having to fully rely on Him in faith for all things.
If want want to cut off our own womb, God will let us. But all we've learned through that is that I control my body, my family, my finances, and my comfort level. There's no faith involved. The Charleboishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04301218615305191791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17238112.post-1136493663722933372006-01-05T12:41:00.000-08:002006-01-05T12:41:00.000-08:00According to an article in the Herald Sun, the pil...According to an article in the Herald Sun, the pill can cause more than abortions - namely killing your sex drive for life. IT SEEMS THAT IT IS NOT "LIKED" AMOUNG MANY CHRISTIANS. THEY DON'T LIKE TO THINK OF THE POSSIBLE CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR ACTIONS--AND IN MY OPINION, THAT IS VERY IRRESPONSIBLE. WE WILL GIVE AN ACCOUNT TO GOD FOR EVERY ACTION. WHAT IS THE TRUE HEART MOTIVE? IF WE CAN'T HAVE FAITH IN GOD TO CONTROL OUR FUTURES, THAN OUR GOD IS TO SMALL. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
